Bermuda based NGO Station-B is a long-time collaborator in, and supporter of many of our Conservation Technology focused projects.
Our common goal is to (at times disruptively) develop and leverage new technologies to solve conservation challenges, and where possible create field-serviceable, cost-effective solutions that can be deployed at scale, using Nonsuch Island and Bermuda’s surrounding marine habitats as the ultimate field-station and testing ground.
This includes our ongoing CahowCam project, our AI assisted rodent detection project, our ocean plastic tracking project, and our upcoming RFID Cahow tracking project, with a particular focus on assisting with the development and procurement of the underlying technologies, partnering with like-minded global experts wherever needed.
Current and recent partners include: The Arribada Initiative, Woods Hole, The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, MIT, URI, U Delaware, UCSD, Ocean BioMetrics, and The Nature Conservancy.
