In Celebration of World Oceans Day, we have named this year’s CahowCam2 chick “Bada”, for the Korean word The Sea / Ocean.
She is expected to fledge prior to the 10th, and has already started exercising outside of her burrow at night as seen in the video below from the 4th of June.
Tune in over the next few nights as the Team aim to LiveStream her movements around the Colony with the remote SurfaceCam, and if lucky you will witness her launch into her first flight, from which she will return should all go well in 3 to 6 years, never having touched land in the interim!
